This week your share may include…

• Bay Leaves: We dried these last summer and know they’ll be tasty in winter soups & stews.
• Carrots: A sweet Italian variety called Napoli. This has been a bumper year for our winter carrot crop.
• Garlic: Nice, big, easy-to-peel cloves!
• Leeks: King Richard leeks are long and thin and tasty — use them as you would onions. 
• Onions: This week we’re giving out the last of the Copra onions. Next week we start seeding more Copra and all the other onion varieties so we can plant them out in May, harvest in August, and hopefully be enjoying them again next winter…
• Parsnips: Some of these giant roots look a little rough around the edges, but just peel them and they’ll be great roasted or in soup. They add great depth of flavor to any dish!
• Hot Peppers: We had a bumper crop of these Cayanne peppers this summer and dried the extras so you could continue to enjoy them through the winter.
• Potatoes: These giant Yukon Gold potatoes came from our friends at Mustard Seed Farms.
